Man, I love dusk. The sky is Duke blue, the clouds are purple and white, and the horizon is pink; what a beautiful color combination. I’m currently blogging from the patio of one of the dorms on campus because the internet in my apartment is out:( Despite the sound of the construction going on right beside me, it’s actually nice to be blogging outside for a change.
The base of dinner was leaves:
I need a salad spinner asap!
Matt and I are heading out of town this weekend, so I tried to use up a few things which resulted in this sweet and spicy salad.
This is pepper goat cheese, peaches, chicken, and a blob (I first typed blog, lol) of tomato and basil yogurt dip with jalapeno chips. She was dressed in a combo of spicy mustard, olive oil, balsamic, honey, salt and pepper…
A perfect salad for a hot summer night!
I love spicy, but sweet always wins in the end. I went back to the kitchen for a classic nut butter (cinnamon sunflower to be exact) + banana with honey for dessert.
I’m not sure what’s going on with this back pain. It’s smack dab in the middle of my back and hurts when I breathe. So random. Spending the rest of the evening trying to find a comfortable position:(

September 1, 2010 at 8:54 amI’m glad I found your blog again! Nothing was showing up in my google reader, but it must’ve been because you switched on wordpress. I feel like I can relate to a lot on your blog…I live in a new city, moved in with my boyfriend, just finished my master’s degree in psychology, and start my first full time job as a substance abuse counselor next week! It’s challenging to balance everything, especially because my boyfriend is still technically a “student” (he’s getting his phd) and I’m supposed to be an “adult.” I look forward to reading more now that I’ve found you again!
