A Walk in the Mall

As I was saying last night, I took a walk in the mall yesterday instead of going to the gym. I knew there were a lot of events going on for Boston fashion week and I was hoping to stumble upon some action (and I had to return a shirt). I got lucky because look what I found:

A fashion show put on by Copley Place! I got there towards the end, so I didn’t get to see a whole lot, but what I saw was spectacular…some of the most amazing riding boots I’ve ever laid eyes on and some really unique cocktail dresses. I’m also loving the classic look on the guys.

After the show I couldn’t help but peek in J Crew. They recently re-did the store and moved all of the men’s clothing to a separate store, so there’s twice as much room for women’s clothing now. Is it just me or are this year’s fall collections the best ever? Even rain boots are gorgeous these days. I also love the army greens and oxford shoes for women.

The rain finally cleared on my walk home and I captured an interesting shot of the city. It was nice to be out and about on a school night.

I got home late and threw together a bbq chicken pizza topped with banana peppers and a little feta on naan.

I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already and that this Friday is the 1st of October. I hope you’re all having a good week:)

Love fashion shows! Years ago, they were all the rage and women had a fabulous time going to them. And you might remember when you were little and we’d come home from the mall, you would try on all your new clothes for Dad and of course called it a “fashion show.”
