Will Work for Happy Hour

Another wet day here, but I’m heading to the warm and festive nook known as the Border Cafe for drinks after work!!!! I do believe this will be my first happy hour (well, technically I’ve been many times, but it doesn’t count if you don’t go to work first). Also, a side note, drink specials are not allowed in Boston, so happy hour is really not any happier than other hours except for the fact that drinking after work tends to be a happy event. This little tidbit s one reason why I will ultimately move to another city.

I’m hoping to enjoy a margarita or two with school/internship friends before calling it an early night. Matt and I have plans for an 8 AM departure to pick up our rental car and head to the Berkshires for the night. We are hoping to keep things simple with good food and drink and relaxation, but we may brave the temperatures and take a hike.

 

This week’s attempt at being an adult:

Apparently, it was a cold week because I’m just noticing that I wore boots 4/5 days. (Remember, I didn’t go to work Tuesday; thus, the dirty hair and lack of pants:))
