What a wonderful day with family!
Kath, Kanz, + Karen, and Matt’s family all arrived this afternoon just before cocktail hour.
I had a a big old mug of Kanz’s home-brewed double.
We made lite sandwiches to keep our stomach’s from growling during church…
Our group braved the cold and walked downtown.
We sang all the usual hymns and shared the flame to spread the Christmas cheer.
Once home, we gathered around the tree for the yearly Younger buffet and gift exchange!
I had some bourbon eggnog…
and ate way past capacity…..it was worth it for these guys: buckeyes, dough balls, and bourbon balls + handfuls of m & m’s.
We relaxed by the fire and exchanged a few gifts. I’ll share some of the highlights with you guys tomorrow. I’m off to bed so santa will come!
Merry Christmas!

December 25, 2010 at 8:24 amMerry Christmas, sounds like you had a nice Christmas Eve. I love how you put chips in your sandwich! I use to do that when I was little and my mom would scold me for it, but I still do it sometimes as an adult.
