All I wanted last night was salad, so Matt and I went in search of greens once we arrived back in Hillsborough.
We ended up walking down to Weaver St. Market (like Whole Foods) and we piled beds of spinach high with fun toppings and pasta salads.
This was phenomenal!!!!!!!
Dinner was enjoyed in front of the tv with a Sam Smith Cherry ale split four ways. The ale was fun, but it was more like a fruit juice than a beer…it actually reminded me of the Seagrams wine coolers I drank in my youth:)

Today was jammed packed. Matt and I went back to Durham and dropped off an application for an apartment. We peeked inside one more time and I am just thrilled with our choice. Then we drove over to World Market and I made a major furniture purchase with my Christmas money. I just couldn’t resist a deeply discounted dining table, so I took a leap and got it! My Mom took us out for a goodbye lunch before we headed to the airport. T’was so nice spending so much time at home with the family over this break.
A delayed flight and a very crowded airport later, I’ve arrived in the big apple for a mini new year’s reunion. Three more days of fun before my adult life resumes….
And I’m off enjoy Manhattan.
