Good evening,
I’ve responded to all of your comments! It looks like I have a bit of thinking to do. Some of that thinking has already taken place…aka, during my IEP presentation to 12 other professionals today! During the meeting, my thought of the moment on the matter was that I wanted to be on the social work side of the table because we were dealing with an emotionally heavy case:(
I felt drained after work so the gym didn’t go so well. My feet were freezing all day, so I told myself I could pop into the sauna for a quick thaw. But, the glorious heat overcame me and I couldn’t leave. And then, I was too sleepy to do anything at all. I attempted walking and reading my book and gave up after 10 minutes. Contrary to popular belief, the gym does not always cure sleepiness:)
Food, however, always seems to do the trick, especially when it involves the world’s favorite food: pb. As I was spooning out the oily butter in preparation for dinner, I realized I’d already had a helping with breakfast and lunch. Third time’s a charm?
I found these thai style rice noodles at Trader Joe’s this week as well as a simple recipe for peanut buttery noodles. The mix obviously involved pb as well as soy sauce, chicken broth, and snap peas with a drizzle of lime juice and a sprinkling of pepper at the end.

January 26, 2011 at 9:35 pmIt’s always good to rule certain aspects of a field out. For example, I know I want to work in education some how, but after a placement and my course work, I’ve become pretty certain that being a teacher is not for me and that I’d prefer to work in post-secondary.
