Happy weekend friends,
This week was a fast one, and I’m sure the weekend will be even faster. I’m on my way to Baltimore to visit my grandmother. My sister and mom are meeting me there, so I’ll get to hang out with the whole crew (plus Matt’s family on Saturday night!!)
So I tried to go green this week (both at work and when I went out) in honor of St. Patty’s day. I’ve always been a little obsessive about wearing the color that corresponds with the holiday on the actual day. I’m one of those people who will buy the red, white, and blue bathing suite for the fourth and I wouldn’t consider Christmas complete if I didn’t wear a red sweater. Silly, I know, but it makes the day feel special, and in this case, it kept me from getting pinched.

March 19, 2011 at 11:37 pmCute plaid top! I definitely wore green – you can’t work in a school without it. Last year I was so stressed with school that I forgot it was St. Patty’s and had bruises from all the pinches. I guess my green eyes didn’t count 😉
