All the beer samples from last night left me soo thirsty on this sunny Thursday. Despite chugging water all day, I just could not catch up. Don’t ya hate that? So, I decided that a nap was definitely in order when I got home from work. 20 minutes in the flannels felt just perfect and I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to pedal my heart out at spinning. It was a great class and I topped it off with some push-ups and planks. I’ve been trying to focus on my core these days given that I’ve neglected it all winter.
Sadly, on the way home from the gym, Matt called to say he’d have to work late:( I ditched our meal plan and searched for something suitable in the kitchen. Inspired by a sandwich I saw on the menu at Gaslight on Sunday, I decided to make an asparagus melt.
I utilized the butt of the Iggy’s focaccia loaf from Tuesday, which made for a long and skinny platform for my asparagus.

April 7, 2011 at 9:42 pmI have seen that movie! It was quite different to what I had been expecting but I loved it anyway, mostly because it has Anne Hathaway in it and just quietly I have loved her since The Princess Diaries…
