Hello. How’s life?
I finished babysitting around 5:45 today, and just when I was about to call Matt and tell him I was really craving a beer on a patio, he called me to say he was in the neighborhood after his doctor’s appointment (he has a strained meniscus:(). Before I knew it, I was not only sipping a Pretty Things Jack D’or on the patio of Beacon Street Tavern, I was eating one of the most amazing pizzas I’ve had in Boston. The world stopped spinning.
At $15, we couldn’t resist the urge to just eat dinner out and save the trouble of cooking or dirtying dishes.
We split a simple flatbread with wild mushrooms and spinach on one side and blue cheese, fig, and bacon on the other. Both were totally awesome, but the blue cheese side stole my heart.
What a wonderful, spontaneous treat. T minus two point five weeks left in Boston:(
Goin’ to read my book in bed!
