How many presidents were successfully assassinated?

If you guessed 4, you are correct! I went to trivia at Dain’s tonight and had a blast. I didn’t know any of the answers, but the beer was good and I had fun discussing all of the answers with my team.

My first beer was the New Belgian Somersault. I’m trying to fit in tastes of just a few more summer beers before fall arrives. I loved the Somersault because it didn’t taste like a generic wheat, but was still light and summery – a little apricot with a bit of a hop!

My second beer was a surprise from the bartender (don’t you love when they care about what you’re drinking?) – the Hoss Rye lager by Great Divide. I was a bit hesitant when I heard the word rye, but it was really delicious and a little nutty. I will go back to Dain’s for the trivia and the beer.

I don’t have pictures tonight because my camera died just when I was trying to snap a picture of the sweet apple sausage dog (in a bun tonight) and the fabulous late summer corn on the cob that was dinner. Simple tasted so good tonight. I apologize for the lack of visual entertainment, but I’m sure you can picture a hot dog and a few beers.

Enjoy what’s left of the night:)

Oh man, I love NB. I grew up in Fort Collins, CO and love my hometown beers so much that when I moved (back) to Boston in June, I packed a 6-pack of Somersaut, a 6-pack of O’Dell’s 90 Shilling, and a 12-pack of Sunshine Wheat. I’ve been savoring them ever since. Glad you enjoyed it!
