I think I’ve been feeling less tired lately, so I figured it was time to get in the kitchen. When I saw Kat’s pot pie over the weekend and realized that I had many of the ingredients, I knew it had to happen. Since my stomach rejected the world, I no longer eat chicken wings [skin], so this was a nice way to get some of that buffalo chicken flavor in my life.
And blue cheese cornbread? Oh yeah.
Too bad I had to eat this awesome feast all by my lonesome.
Thanks Kat, for doing all the hard work and finding a winning recipe. And thanks to Matt’s mom for baking a large bag of snicker-doodles for me. I now have something sweet to enjoy every night of the week.
What is not sweet is the huge red message running across my TV screen that just says “A broadcast station” with a ton of weird boxes afterwards. Its on all of my channels. I was watching house hunters and I could not see the asking prices on the screen! How do I know which house to pick if I don’t even know the price? Perhaps it’s a sign that I’ve watched too many episodes and I need to go read my book.
What’s new with your guys?

November 21, 2011 at 9:56 pmI love it when other people bake for me – I so badly want to be a baker, but the reality is that I would much rather be eating the treats.
My goal is to make it to Wednesday night. If I can survive until then (we have a wedding tomorrow night…yes, seriously on a Tuesday), this week will go in the win column.
