We all know it’s on the horizon and men can be impossible to shop for. I’m always on a budget – here are my man gift ideas…
- Masculine chocolate: bacon, beer, or spicy chili
- A coupon for a beer and pizza night – a lotta food for a little money is always the way to his heart (same with my dad)
- Can’t go wrong with a pancake or egg breakfast
- A little something for the liquor collection he’s always wanted (I’d rather spend money on beer and wine)
- A tie – sometimes he actually likes me to pick out things he wouldn’t pick out.
- Tickets to a comedy show
Let me know what you decide!!

February 7, 2012 at 10:22 pmI’m sure what ever you decide to do will be perfect. When you mentioned the pizza and beer night, it reminded me of a website you might want to check out mammamiapizzabeer.com where you will find an actual beer that has pizza taste. It would be interesting to know if it is any good or not. Otherwise, the real thing is yummy, Comedy Club is always fun, chocolate is delicious, can never have too many ties, a stocked liquor cabinet comes in handy for entertaining, and pancake and egg breakfast is special…sooooo, being his Valentine is wonderful and he will enjoy whatever you decide.

February 8, 2012 at 9:46 amYou just missed the NC Comedy Fest in Chapel Hill. How ’bout Satisfaction in Brightleaf — known for it’s pizza & beer and Duke crowd hangout. Bourbon sounds good because it lasts a long time and he’ll remember it was your VDay present each time he has some.

February 8, 2012 at 11:03 amI always buy my husband chocolate beer for Valentine’s Day – Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. No reason boys shouldn’t get chocolate too!

February 8, 2012 at 11:58 amI was thinking about a book on composting or gardening. not every man’s wish, but I think it would suit mine. Also I like to give cool t-shirts that say things like “eat local” or “beer me”

February 17, 2012 at 10:32 amMen are the hardest to shop for! I’ve learned that when my man wants something, he’ll go out and buy it for himself so it’s hard to get anything in advance haha 😛 Ex: I got him some dark chocolates and a DVD that just came out but he had already bought it!
