When I quit my job last year, I was pumped to find out about the concept of ‘vacation payout.’ I’m quitting and you’re giving me money? Sweet. At that time, I decided it was only appropriate that I use my vacation payout to go on vacation! A great deal on a flight, off-season hotel prices, and six months of savings later, and a trip to Colorado was born. Matt and I enjoyed going out west so much last year, that we decided to explore another area. We’ll be spending time days in Steamboat Springs and checking out Denver too! As always, recommendations are welcome:)

August 12, 2012 at 2:28 amOh my gosh, I would kill for a ‘vacation payout’. Is this a US thing? I’ve never heard of it. But seriously, nothing beats travelling. I definitely can’t wait until you post your trip pics. I’m always looking for new destinations to go to.
