“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Reebok. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
I’ve seen quite a few bloggers review the Reebok Skyscape, so I was really excited to get the opportunity to try out a pair! I received a Kohl’s giftcard so that I could order them online. Kohl’s only had pink and black left in my size, so I went with the black – they come in a bunch of different colors though!
Since starting my part-time job at Equinox in March, I’ve had a little bit of trouble getting used to be being on my feet for extended periods – my shift is usually 6 hours. I’ve worn my Reeboks for a couple of shifts now, and can say that they are super comfy and my feet felt happy at the end of the day! The reason the shoes are so unique is because they are made of a seamless, two-way stretch foam material. The foam is really flexible and lightweight, so it moves with your foot and kinda feels like you aren’t wearing shoes (although they were a little tight when I first put them on). These are probably the lightest shoes I’ve even worn (5 ounces!), so I bet they’d be great for travel.
Because the foam is breathable and seamless, you can also wear them without socks! I tried them without socks at work and found that my feet still felt a little sweaty – they are machine washable though, so even if you do sweat and they start to smell, you can just wash them!
I’m lucky that I have the option to wear active wear to work at Equinox. I usually wear black or patterned leggings and thus my Reebok’s matched perfectly and I think any of the others would have added a nice pop of color. However, I just can’t see myself wearing these with anything other than work out attire – they are still just a bit too sporty to wear with skinny jeans, and since they don’t have a ton of extra arch support, I’d probably just choose flats over these.
I’m glad to have a new option for work though, so I don’t have to wear my giant clunkers or have aching feet! You can read my review at Kohl’s – looks like everyone else likes the Skycapes too!

May 2, 2014 at 7:16 amI have been debating these since seeing them on Gina’s site. I am on my feet a lot at school too, maybe they would be fine, and I like the colors but I am not sure I would describe them as “cute” 🙂
