Hamptons Highlights

Our weekend in Southampton was filled with delicious food, laughter, cocktails, and fresh air. Ashley and Bo have been great friends to us since we moved to Brooklyn, so it was fun to do a getaway with them and the babes.  Not only do they like food as much as we do, but they like to cook much more than we do, and did a lot of the dirty work:) Highlights of the weekend included…

bay breezes,

our personal bartender who could make any cocktail under the sun,

hanging out on the deck at dusk,

grilled grouper sandwiches,

an afternoon with absolutely no plans (I even took a nap!),

giant portions of grilled lobster with garlic butter,

a cold walk on beautiful Cooper’s beach,

watching the babies interact even though Emerson refused to share and was in a terrible mood for half the trip (her canine erupted yesterday. Sigh. You win some, you lose some).

Too bad the weekend was over in a flash. I could have stayed a week!
