Happy Monday. It’s a very dreary day over here. But, we’ve got Em’s birthday Friday and my birthday next Thursday, so I’m excited that there’s lots of cake in our future!

Fall clothes – this belted sweatshirt, this Teaberry & weave pullover, and this funnelneck sweatshirt (from last year) for days with Emerson. All so basic, but oh so comfy with soft denim.
Story Cards – I bought these for our Portugal trip, and Em just loves them. We pick a couple and I make up terrible stories. They make for nice, quiet entertainment.
Lash Boost by Rodan + Fields – I’ve been wanting to try one of these lash products forever (I have the saddest blonde eyelashes), but never knew what to buy. Blog reader Ashley reached out to me and suggested it, so I decided to give it a try. And it works!! I had a really hard time taking a picture of my eyes (so awkward this close), but this is the longest my lashes have ever been!! (PS: Contact Ashley and mention this post for 10% off!)
Trader Joe’s Bamba Peanut Snacks – I know I’m late to the party on this one, but Emerson is obsessed and now I’m hooked.
This rosehip moisturizer – I’ve wanted to try rosehip oil for a while now, so I’m glad I found this moisturizer that’s inexpensive and made with clean ingredients. It’s a little greasy going on, but makes my skin feel great once it’s dry.
The library – Maybe I’m late to the party on this one too? Em and I have started going for a big stack of books every two weeks and we are loving the variety. Our local library has tons of board books, which are great for mixing things up when we are traveling. Also, I finally figured out how to check out e-books on my Kindle and am currently enjoying The Royal We.
