2020 Favorites

On the last day of 2020, I thought it would be fun to share my favorite things from the year:

APL shoes – these were a big postpartum splurge and I was hesitant because I didn’t know if they would be worth it. So worth it! I have worn these SO much in 2020 – for errands, walks, workouts. Love them!

The beach! I’m so glad the beach was a safe activity this year (well, maybe not those crowded beach in FL). We drove to the coast three times and it was wonderful to have a sense of normalcy during a crazy year. It’s one of Emerson’s favorite places and I love seeing her play in the surf.

Eye Cream – between COVID and having an infant in 2020, I feel like I aged a lot. I’ll admit I’ve been skeptical of eye cream in the past because I never noticed a difference with it, but I see a difference when I use this consistently.

Masks! Yes, I’m so thankful for masks when so many people hate them. They have allowed to have outdoor hangouts, go the playground, run into stores, and go to doctors appointments. Masks saved 2020.

J Crew Dreamy Pajamas – so I’ve spent a lot of time this year in pajamas:) I’m so glad I discovered these because they are comfy and make me feel more put together!

Sisters! These two right here are my 2020 favorites (plus Matt!!). Avery became mobile when Emerson so badly needed a companion and now they play all kinds of games. I love watching them interact!

These pancakes. Matt took a liking to this recipe and makes them for the family once a week. We all love them (with chocolate chips) and argue over who gets the last one!

The Goop Salt Scrub Shampoo. I LOVE this stuff. It’s so different from any other shampoo out there and makes my hair so clean. I still use the daily shampoo in between, but the salt scrub is my favorite.
