I can’t believe it’s been almost two month’s since I’ve written a post! It’s on my to-do list almost every week and here we are. I’ve been a bit overwhelmed with trying to balance school psychology work with cleaning, kids, cooking, Beautycounter, and all the things. I never thought I could been this busy while barely leaving my house:) While I’m enjoying being back in the school psychologist world and using my brain for something different, it’s also distracting me quite a bit. If I’m being honest, I haven’t felt like the best parent lately and it was probably silly of me to accept a position without childcare. I really feel for the students and students navigating education during the pandemic though and I’m glad I can help this year when it’s really needed.
Like most people, winter has been a hard season without the option for any indoor activities! However, the girls are playing together all the time now which as been wonderful. I feel like there have also been a lot of ‘accidents’ because Emerson tends to be a little rough with Avery. I’ve never gasped at so many bumps and falls!
We did have the opportunity to drive to the beach during President’s Day Weekend. Though it rained the whole time, we had some really good food and took the time to completely relax. I’d love to go back to Isle of Palms in the warmer months because it was gorgeous!
One thing is for sure, the warm temperatures we’ve had the past two weeks have us pumped for spring. As long as we can see some friends outdoors and grab dinner at picnic tables, we can stay sane as we continue to wait for vaccines!
What’s new with you guys? What are you looking forward to most in the coming months?

March 11, 2021 at 12:23 pmWe missed you 💕 The girls are getting so big. Not looking forward too much, pretty happy staying home and gardening where we know it is safe. This time of pause is just what I needed to examine my priorities.
