The Beautycounter holiday collection is here and there are so many good gift sets! If you’re not familiar with the brand, it’s the skincare and makeup line I started using when pregnant with Avery. I like it first and foremost because it did wonders for my aging, tired, and acne-prone skin, but also because the company is committed to transparency and sustainability. They avoid chemicals that are questionable, harmful, or irritating (based on evidence) and batch test products to check for heavy metal contamination (this has been in the news a lot lately).
Every October, they introduce limited edition gift sets that are typically smaller and more affordable and make perfect gifts for friends, teachers, co-workers, or family. There are 15 sets total and these are the ones I’m most excited about!
For Breast Cancer awareness month – Wednesday (today) through Friday, I’m donating all commission from my affiliate link to The Breast Cancer Alliance.
I love the sleep theme of this set! Step one is the Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel. Wake up to smoother, softer- feeling skin with this leave-on AHA/beta-hydroxy acid treatment. Then, slather on Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream, a decadent, deeply hydrating cream (one of my favorites) that nourishes skin and fights wrinkles with a plant-based alternative to Retinol. Top it all off with our limited-edition Clean Dreams Eye Mask made from cupro, a silk alternative. This would make a great gift for a new mom, as the products are safe for breastfeeding.
This is just the perfect little set for anyone who wants to try Beautycounter or for a clean-beauty-curious friend. These mini skin-care favorites that are all staples in my routine Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum is a transformative treatment that visibly increases skin firmness while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Counter+ All Bright C Serum provides an instant brightening power and glow, and Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel leaves you waking up to softer, smoother-feeling skin.
I’m super excited about this one because I haven’t been getting regular pedicures throughout the pandemic. The Exfoliating Foot Balm is an overnight foot treatment with a 9% AHA/beta-hydroxy acid blend that works to gently exfoliate while you sleep. It comes with a Volcanic Exfoliator Buffer that you use first before applying the balm – it’s best to soak feet to soften them before using this set. This set actually sold out and is estimated back in stock around 11/16 due to supply chain issues.
This is a good way to sample a bit of makeup. There’s a festive eye shadow palette (also a great size for travel) and a mini sheer gloss that’s flavored with organic vanilla.
I love these because they are nice, thick hand creams that are perfect for breaking up in gifts – think teachers, co-workers, stocking stuffers. Not to mention they smell great without irritating fragrance ingredients.
A trio of luxurious, aromatherapeutic bath oils that will leave skin soft and hydrated after a good soak. I’m excited about these because I finally have a tub in my master bathroom! Also, I feel like it’s really hard to find clean bath products. These would make such a nice gift.
The scents are:
Invigorate: Rosemary, eucalyptus, and peppermint.
Clarify: Ginger, cedarwood, and coriander.
De-Stress: Chamomile, eucalyptus, and patchouli.
