Hello from Mykonos!! I’m blogging from my tablet and I have no idea how to move the pictures around. Anyway, I love it here!! The food has been amazing and the people are so friendly. We have checked out several beaches and it’s fun that they are all different. I don’t want to leave, but it’s time to move on to Santorini. No time for words – here are some snaps: Lentils with pesto, almonds, and greek yogurt… Feta in…

It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for this day! Today we leave for our honeymoon in Europe and I’m beyond excited. All I want to do is eat, drink, relax, and take in the culture of each and every one of our stops. Matt and I have never been to Europe together and neither of us has been to most of the places we are visiting! We are starting out with visits to the islands of Mykonos and Santorini,…
I promised more detailed posts from the wedding weekend, so here’s the Thursday night recap! Because most of the rentals on the island required three-night minimum stays, and we knew our guests were spending a lot of money to travel, Matt and I ultimately decided to do bachelor and bachelorette parties on Thursday night. We had separate pre-parties and then combined the festivities on a boat that we chartered from nearby Carolina Beach. Since there’s only a small grocery store…
I can’t believe it’s been five years since college! It was so much fun to return to campus for our reunion. We stayed in the dorms – it was very festive, but I can’t believe how small those rooms are. And the beds are terribly uncomfortable. I didn’t do a whole lot of sleeping though:) Highlights of the weekend included seeing my friends again and catching up with those who weren’t at the wedding, walking around the adorable town of…
I’m home, and slightly sad that it’s over, but really just happy that everything was fabulous. The whole wedding weekend was probably the best weekend of my life, and it meant so much to me that friends and family traveled from all over the country. I’ll recap all three night soon! So what’s next? Well, I went back to work today – the official end of the school year isn’t until next week. Matt has already started some major cleaning…
Howdy, Sorry for being MIA – Matt and I got hit with a bug as soon as we got home from Dallas. I made it to work for a good 20 minutes on Monday before driving home and getting in bed, where I couldn’t move for 12 hours. Weird. When I woke up this morning and felt normal, I was in the best mood of my life because I was so happy it was over. Anyway, thanks for your sweet…
I’ve been keeping something from you. But now that my employer is in the know about next year, I can officially share that Matt and I will be migrating across the country to the Lone Star state…. Source Don’t ya love how they make it look like Dallas is on the water:) We’re moving to Dallas, TX this summer!! Whew. Feels good to share. I’m obviously very excited, but I will have to admit that it took me a minute…
Hello! I’m just getting around to posting a few pictures from our very short trip to Bald Head Island. Matt and I met my parents, my sister, and little Mazen on the island for a quick getaway and some wedding business. The temperatures were unseasonably cold, but we still had a blast. We bundled up and ventured out on Saturday afternoon to see the house we rented for the wedding week. I stood on the balcony and it was so…
I think I pulled something at bootcamp this week. I stepped on the treadmill and didn’t make it 60 seconds before I headed to the bike. Sometimes I search for split ends and cut them one my one. It’s therapeutic . This weekend is my wedding tasting at the island! I guess if the food’s not good it’s too late. Matt’s at the kitchen table studying for an exam with complicated math – aren’t you so glad it’s not you?…
