Good evening, Anything exciting happen this weekend? If you guessed that I ate and drank my way through the weekend, you’d be correct! I also laughed, a lot. You see, Kath gave Matt a gift card to a local comedy club for his birthday and we cashed it in last night for two tickets to see a visiting comedian. Matt was playing soccer yesterday afternoon, so we didn’t have a whole lot of time to grab dinner before the show…

So about yesterday…. I had been planning on my typical lazy Sunday when Matt got the opportunity to take someone’s place in the Ras na hEireann, a 5k in honor of St. Patty’s day that takes place in Davis square. Though I’m not a runner myself, I love going to races because of the prime people-watching opportunities. And I obviously like to support Matt! I knocked out a little workout of my own at the gym before heading up to…
I blinked and the weekend was over. It was a good one though. Yesterday was spent trekking all over the city, running various errands and re-stocking the refrigerator. Matt and I made the last-minute decision to meet a blog reader and other foodies at the Lower Depths Tap Room for a gathering hosted by Serious Eats. I guess my epiphany just wasn’t as exciting today. But, I did clean the kitchen and start on a project for work that I had been putting off for a…
We spent our whole day exploring, touring, and eating our way through Quebec City. The food tour and dinner were so good that I’ll have to do a separate post on them, but for now, here’s the photo version of our day. The Frontenac’s dog, Sartol. We rode the funiculaire down the steep cliff… to get to our breakfast spot… I ordered a crepe stuffed with blue cheese and baked pears in a black currant sauce. Need I to say…
Hello Monday Morning, I was up at 8:30 to start my day (that’s early-ish for me:)) I have quite a few things to accomplish today as I’m babysitting tomorrow morning and then leaving for Baltimore in the afternoon. Consequently, I had planned a trip to DC to visit four of my best friends from high school and college this coming weekend, so I’ll just be staying in Baltimore until I go to DC on Friday. I had been looking forward to…
